Department of Biochemistry faculty members study the molecular mechanisms of multiple biological systems in diverse contexts. Using myriad cutting-edge approaches including structural biology, computational biology, and a variety of chemical and physical methods, their studies contribute significantly to our fundamental understanding of life, human health and disease, and to the development of new chemotherapeutics.
