On 1 June 2015, the Department of Biochemistry welcomed its newest Assistant Professor, Dr. Haung-he Yang. Dr. Yang is also a member of the Ion Channel Research Unit. Huang-he focuses on understanding the structure and physiological functions of the TMEM16 family.
